Susan I. (Anderson) Haber

Susan I. Haber (nee Anderson) passed away peacefully on March 20, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 17, 1951 to the late Leroy and Anna (nee Elliott) Anderson.

Susan resided in Philadelphia for most of her life until moving out of the city to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She loved the time she was able to spend with them, especially her grandchildren, who she adored. Sue enjoyed the simple things in life, like a good cup of coffee and trying her luck, whether it was at bingo, the casino, or even by purchasing scratch off tickets. She was also a spiritual person who stayed close to her faith in her own, quiet way. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Susan is the devoted mother of Susan Tickner (Richard), Joseph Haber (Gina), Christopher Haber (Sarah), and Michael Haber (Janine Paul). Loving Mom-Mom of Andrew (Cristie), Ryan, Joshua, Carlie, Emma, Joey, Norah, Sean, Keenan, and great grandmother of Jordan. Sadly missed by her former spouse and dear friend Joseph Haber (Donna Greevy). 

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral and visitation Tuesday March 26, 2024 beginning at 10:30am followed by her funeral service at 11:30am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Interment to follow in North Cedar Hill Cemetery, where Susan will be laid to rest with her parents.
