Leo Fraley, age 68, passed away on March 18, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was born on November 22, 1955 to the late Leo and Lucy (nee McBreen) Fraley.
Leo lived in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia throughout his life. He loved his home but enjoyed vacationing in Wildwood with his family, where he spent time crabbing and fishing. As an avid Philadelphia sports fan, Leo followed all of his hometown teams, especially the Phillies and the Eagles. If he was not watching sports, he also loved watching Love Boat, The Odd Couple, and cars shows. Leo was a car enthusiast who knew everything there was to know about cars.
Leo was a lovable and caring person who was always the life of the party. He made many friends throughout his life. Leo was devoted to his family and loved to spend any time he could with them. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Leo is the beloved husband of the late Larene (nee Robinson) and the devoted life partner of Debbie Gellion. Loving father of John Hopely, Dawn Hopely, Sandy Hopely (Harry Hossler), and the late William Hopely. Loving Pop of Christopher, John, Veronica, Mark, Shawn and Great Pop of Caleb, Chase, and Jessie. Dear brother of the late Jeannette Klein, Lucy Potts, and William Fraley. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Tuesday March 26, 2024 beginning at 6:30pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Funeral service 8pm. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests and appreciates any donations towards his final expenses.
