Dorothy M. Poserina "Dot" (nee Dever) passed away on February 16, 2026 at the age of 89. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Mary (nee Slusher) Dever.

Dot was raised in St. Anne parish, where she would later meet her husband and the love of her life at a St. Anne's dance. She loved her family deeply, from sharing a close- knit relationship with her siblings to devoting her life to her own children and grandchildren. Family meant everything to her. She also enjoyed her time living down the shore at her home in the Villas. She would often frequent the area yard sales, earning her the nickname "Queen of Yard Sales". She will be greatly missed.

Dorothy is the beloved wife of 68 years to Edward J. Poserina. Devoted mother of Michael Poserina (Bernadette), Edward Poserina (Theresa), Maryanne Gasparo (Nicholas), and Francine Beatty (Greg). Loving Grandmom to Carolanne, Eddie (Kate), Jennifer (Alex), Michael (Vivian), Angelina, Nicholas, Gregory, Rachel, and Brooke. Sadly missed by her 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Friday February 27, 2026 from 9-10:15am in St. Anne Church (upper) 2328 East Lehigh Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19125. Funeral Mass 10:30am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
